Make an impact on millions of users from well-known retailers as a senior Product Designer at this leading digital agency

This leading agency specializes in designing and improving e-commerce apps and web applications. Thanks to their extensive knowledge and years of experience, they now work for large retail organizations at home and abroad, with mature e-commerce ecosystems and millions of visitors. They are known for their ability to broadly support these organizations in improving their e-commerce landscape. As an employer, they offer a pleasant working atmosphere; many employees have enjoyed working here for years.
As a senior Product Designer, you will immediately start a challenging project for a very well-known Dutch retailer. Together with your fellow product designers, you will radically renew their B2C app and responsive website—an assignment for which this agency is often approached—both conceptually and in terms of functionalities.
You sometimes work agile, but not always, because not every customer fully uses this method. Adopting agile is often part of a larger transition within the organization when they engage this agency. So we are looking for someone who is flexible and willing, if necessary, to use a semi-agile approach that matches the customer's processes and planning.
It's also good to know that hi-fi is always designed here. Although you have the freedom to sketch and create wireframes first, only full-color flows are discussed internally and presented to the customer.
When you work for an agency, you are usually part of both the agency team and the team of the client you are currently working for.
More than 50 employees work at this agency. The team that deals with the transition at your first client consists of more than 30 employees.
The agency supports this client with four employees, including you: the Product Design Lead, to whom you report, and a few senior and medior Product Designers. Your primary workplace is the agency office. Although you occasionally travel to the customer for workshops and have daily contact via email and video calls, employees are not seconded to location full-time.
Employees of this agency often work in the office for three days and from home for two days.
Do you want to further strengthen your portfolio with experience in B2C, e-commerce, apps and/or retail? Then you're in the right place. At this agency, you focus on redesigning e-commerce apps and platforms with millions of annual users. This often concerns projects for well-known companies at home and abroad.
What makes this role extra attractive is that you get a lot of freedom and responsibility here. Within the framework of the jointly developed strategy, you can determine the direction you find appropriate and include stakeholders. That's why it's important that you already have e-commerce experience for this role.
You will be working on apps and platforms with an audience of millions and high turnover. Your improvements have a major impact for the user and the organization. If you're going to work here, you can add not only cases with impressive “before & after” visuals to your portfolio, but also impressive “before & after” numbers.
